Yeah, I've never heard that before tonight. It is SO true. Had a bit of a disagreement with the current little lady.

I related the event (involved story I will reserve until someone expresses interest) to a close friend and that was what she said immediately after laughing her ass off.

Turns out, at least in her family, it is an old adage.

Who knew?!?!

I HAD to check out your gallery knowing what an articulate individual you are - and I was pleased to find many dark and beautiful things! I especially liked: Refuge, Perdido Street Station (I'll have to read the book), The Bad Place and your five-part series from Hybernation to Birth. Great work!

It didn't take much to surmise that you weren't a 14 year old anime artist.
